The first mini computer developed in india was trombay digital computer. It was conceived by the electronic corporation of india, Hyderabad in 1970. The approximate cost was about 58 lakh indian rupees at that time. It was used in police department and finance department
Now it is exhibited at science and technology museum in Thiruvananthapuram.
